Founded in 2019, Stake F1 Team began as a bold vision to challenge the established order in Formula 1. What started as a small group of passionate engineers and racing enthusiasts has grown into one of the most dynamic and innovative teams on the grid.
Based in Mumbai with technical facilities across Europe, our team brings together the best of Indian engineering talent and international motorsport expertise. In just a few short years, we've achieved multiple podium finishes, secured our first race victory in 2023, and built a global fanbase that continues to grow with each race weekend.

Our Journey
Foundation
Stake F1 Team founded with headquarters in Mumbai, India. Initial funding secured and core team assembled with a vision to bring Indian engineering to the global stage.
First Season
Debut season in Formula 1. Despite initial challenges, the team showed promise with several points finishes and a breakthrough P5 at the Italian Grand Prix.
Growth & Development
Expanded technical team and facilities. Formed strategic partnerships with key technology providers. First podium finish at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
Technical Innovation

Technology & Innovation
Our technical department represents the cutting edge of motorsport engineering. With a team of over 250 specialized engineers working across aerodynamics, power units, composites, and electronics, we're constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
Our wind tunnel facility operates 24/7, testing new aerodynamic concepts and refining our understanding of airflow around the car. We've developed proprietary computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software that allows us to simulate and optimize performance with unprecedented accuracy.
The Stake F1 simulator is among the most advanced in the sport, allowing our drivers to experience updates and setup changes before they're implemented on the physical car. This accelerates our development cycle and gives us a competitive advantage.
The Drivers Behind The Wheel
Our driver lineup represents the perfect combination of experience, raw talent, and determination. Lead driver Arjun Patel brings six years of Formula 1 experience to the team, including three Grand Prix victories. His technical feedback and race craft have been instrumental in our development.
Alongside Arjun, rising star Marcus Chen joined us in 2023 after dominating in Formula 2. His fearless driving style and natural speed have already resulted in multiple podium finishes, showcasing the potential that made us sign him to a multi-year contract.
Our test and reserve driver, Elena Rodriguez, plays a crucial role in our simulator program and car development. Her engineering background provides unique insights that help bridge the gap between driver feedback and technical implementation.

The facility includes a 50% scale wind tunnel, composite manufacturing department, and electronics lab.
